Leadership Advance

Leadership Advance is tailored specifically to emerging leaders and those wanting to enhance their leadership skills, as well as enrich their knowledge of the Las Vegas Valley. Building off of the solid foundation of the Leadership North Las Vegas program, Leadership Advance focuses on encouraging individuals in the Las Vegas community on the path to significant leadership positions to play an active role in developing their leadership abilities and preparing for the challenges of community leadership. Leadership Advance blends in-depth community education with practical, hands-on skills and leadership training. By the end of the program year, participants gain extensive experience and insight into their own leadership technique and skills, create deep-rooted relationships with fellow participants and grow in awareness and understanding of challenges and issues within the community.

Building on the legacy of the Leadership North Las Vegas program, Leadership Advance continues to focus its programming content and impact on the North Las Vegas community. The Leadership Advance kick-off retreat is held at Aliante Casino & Hotel and Government Day is anchored by the City of North and its infrastructure. Leadership Advance scholarships are awarded each year exclusively to City of North Las Vegas employees, North Las Vegas-based CCSD personnel and small businesses owners located in North Las Vegas. Leadership Advance annual class projects are required to benefit the North Las Vegas community.

Tuition for the Leadership Advance program is $1,950 for Metro Chamber members, and $2,450 for non-members.
